Various scents can trigger memory responses.
Fresh cut grass and lemons remind me of summer. Old Spice and Canada mints remind me of my Dad. The fresh smell of lemon brings back memories of my grandmother’s lemon meringue pie.
Are you currently planning your dream wedding?
Do you want to create a lasting memory for people when they come to your home or something other than the smell of dog or burnt popcorn?
Maybe you just want to radiate the fresh aroma of citrus or a gentle, relaxing lavender field?
Everyone is raving about essential oils.
Everyone is raving about essential oils–and for a good reason. Essential oils are steam distilled from plants or cold-pressed from the rind of citrus fruits. They not only provide amazing aromas but also have therapeutic benefits.
Pregnancy made me “scentsitive”
When I was pregnant with my twin daughters I became sensitive to synthetic fragrances. Thankfully, essential oils don’t bother me at all. I diffuse in my house pretty much 24 hours a day. I overheard some women talking about planning their weddings the other day and I imagined how amazing it would be to have a signature scent. I often wear certain essential oils in my diffuser necklace. I’ve had several people tell me I smell like a spa! How cool is that?
Diffusing at a wedding!
When I pictured someone diffusing at a wedding I even envisioned them sending their guests home with a small bottle of the wedding blend to remind them of that special day. The minute they drop it in the diffuser, roll it on their wrists, or put it in a diffuser necklace they’ll be taken back to that joyous time.
