-Sarah MacleanAndrew and I celebrated 18 years of marriage this year. I look back and feel like we were just kids when we started our lives together.
The path we’ve walked together over the last 18 years has been incredible. So many challenges, highs, lows, steep curves, hills, valleys. In many ways I feel like we’re on the other side, like we “made it.” I also feel like we have so much more to do.
In the spring we thought that on May 14th we’d be making our final decision on our sailboat, survey (inspection) in hand.
Come to find out, that was just part of our journey this year but not the destination right now.
After the sailboat we were pursuing didn’t work out we regrouped and asked ourselves, “what are we really trying to accomplish here?”
The answers looked something like this 👇🏻
🌎To explore the world with our family.
💻To work from anywhere.
💰To live debt free.
😍To challenge ourselves to simplify even more.
🏕To focus on experiences.
🙏🏻To teach our kids about life, entrepreneurship and passion.
💧To create a ripple effect of health and freedom in the world.
❤️To spread joy, love and hope.
We realized that these things can be accomplished in many ways. We found our LAND YACHT in early May. The series of events that lead us to it showed God’s hand in the process.
We are walking in purpose and THRILLED to introduce you to the newest addition to our family—>coming to a campground, vineyard (maybe even a Walmart 🤦🏼♀️) near you.
We named him Bubba (thank you for all of the friends and family who chimed in and helped).
Don’t worry sailing friends, the sailboat is still on the horizon, 🌅 we’re just taking a fun little detour. 😍
P.S. The girls thoroughly enjoyed decorating their sleeping spaces!
P.P.S. Never say never. I may have said I’d never do something like this once or twice…ok maybe more than that. 😜😂
