As a Mom, I am constantly trying to keep a steady stream of healthy foods available for my kids. This can be a challenge with all of the fun looking junk snacks that are available in stores! I found some really cute little take out looking boxes and mixed up my own trail mix! I mixed almonds, walnuts, peanuts, unsweetened banana chips, unsweetened dried cranberries, raisins, and shredded coconut. Optional: you can add chocolate chips to this as well. I only recommend those if you are just starting to transition to healthier eating. This will give you a small sweet fix to help keep you away from that package of Oreos. Baby steps, right?
