One thing leads to another and before you know it you’re whipping up your own cologne! Essential oils have revolutionized the way we do EVERYTHING in our home. From uplifting and energizing aromas to wonderful relaxing aromas, we are diffusing nonstop! Then we’re also making laundry soap, fabric softener, skin creams, and air fresheners. Not to mention the bath salts and sugar scrubs. The kids are in on it too!
My husband likes to smell good but not like flowers and I definitely get a headache from store bought cologne. I also don’t like putting anything on my skin that I wouldn’t be willing to put into my mouth. He and I have learned a lot about the chemicals in our personal care products. So once we started getting comfortable with essential oils we started creating our own blends.
This is my husband’s favorite cologne recipe. Its pretty simple, I like simple. He likes the aroma and I always smiles when he wears it. He also really likes the effect the two oils have on his mood. He says he feels grounded and more focused. WIN-WIN! Another great option? Try this DIY Cologne Rollon!
