Post-Valentine’s Day Mailbox Craft

February 17, 2013 By Kara Leave a Comment

IMG_1150Valentine’s Day is over.  Love and hearts are forever in style so I raided the Target dollar shelves and purchased the mini mailboxes for 30 cents.  We decorated them with some ribbon, glitter and foam stickers.  I wrote this poem and we are creating several little love notes for my Mom since she is located in Massachusetts and we are in North Carolina.

Valentine’s Day has come and gone,

but our love for you goes on and on.

Inside this mailbox you will find,

our love is truly one of a kind.

No matter how many miles apart,

know you’re always in our hearts.

Read our notes day by day,

and we won’t seem so far away.

Love, Bridget and Emily

She is going to LOVE this! Of course, we bought four more of them because the girls want to write love notes.  What a great way to practice letters and spelling!
